Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1804 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. We are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Jewish Proverbs, and it is: A mother understands what a child does not say.
A Mother Understands

Do you have, or ever had, that special person in your life that just intuitively knows what you are thinking or what your soul is crying out? It may be your mother, father, spouse, or close friend. This person can sense your needs, and they make themselves available to you when you need them most. This probably was a mother or grandmother for most of us as a child. Someone who knew you better than you knew yourself was always there to care and provide for you. We all need a person with a nurturing disposition who intuitively knows and loves you unconditionally. Are you that type of person to others that are dear to you? We need to have this type of love flowing through us. God has this love and care for each of us. As a Christ-follower, He has placed this comforter within each of us. It is God’s indwelling spirit that has taken up residence within us. He knows what our soul longs for even when we cannot express it in words.

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
