Welcome to Day 1739 of our Wisdom-Trek, and thank you for joining me.This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to WisdomDetermination – Daily WisdomWelcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1739 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. We are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.
Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:
Today’s quote is from Ronald Reagan, and it is: A leader, once convinced a particular course of action is the right one, must have the determination to stick with it and be undaunted when the going gets rough.
Determination
If you are going to lead others on a quest towards a goal, you must believe in your soul that the quest is worth pursuing and be convinced of the best way to handle it. Once you have determined that a particular course of action is the right one, you must have the perseverance and endurance to reach the finish line. When the trail ahead of you becomes daunting and complex, filled with setbacks and obstacles, you must continue no matter what. One of the essential marks of a great leader is that they do not give up, give in, or quit when others would. Instead, a great leader will keep moving forward, learn to enjoy the journey, and be able to reap the reward of a job well done. Furthermore, a great leader will gladly share that reward with those they lead. Joshua, the Old Testament leader of the Nation of Israel, was given these leadership instructions directly from God.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Joshua+1%3A6-9andversion=NLT (Joshua 1:6-9)
“Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
