Welcome to Day 1641 of our Wisdom-Trek, and thank you for joining me.This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to WisdomPoor Kind Of Business – Daily WisdomWelcome to Wisdom-Trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. We are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! We are on Day 1641 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:
Today’s quote is from Henry Ford, and it is: A business that makes nothing but money is a poor kind of business.
Poor Kind Of Business
Businesses and people who become fixated on just making money will end up self-imploding. There is so much more to the life and success of a company and us personally than just accumulating wealth. If money-making is the objective, although for a time wealth is earned, the overall success of a company or individual will be minimized. Money is so so fleeting, and so temporal. Although a business needs to make a profit, that cannot be the primary objective or vision. A business should provide products or services to others that will enrich their lives in some manner. The owners, employees, and customers of a business must each benefit, or there is no foundation for that company. Our lives need to be the same. We need need to enrich the lives of everyone that God places into our world. Whether we own a company, or as individuals, our central purpose for existence is to build God’s kingdom by positively impacting the lives of everyone we have the opportunity to associate with. With the technology that we have available today, we can influence others throughout the entire world. There has never been a better time with more opportunities than today. The advancement in technology over the next few years or decades will give us the incredible ability to connect to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Share with others in need what God has richly blessed you with.

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.
