Hello, my friend, I am Guthrie Chamberlain, your captain on our journey to increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy.  Thank you for joining us today as we explore wisdom on our 2nd millennium of podcasts. This is Day 1002 of our Trek, and time for a 3-minute mini-trek called Humor Unplugged.  Our Thursday podcast will provide a short and clean funny story to help you lighten up and live a rich and satisfying life.  Something to cheer you and provide a bit a levity in your life.  We are told in  Proverbs 15:30  A cheerful look brings joy to the heart; good news makes for good health.  We are also encouraged in Proverbs 17:22  A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.  Consider this your vitamin supplement of cheer for today.  So let’s jump right in with today’s funny which is titled:
One Fast Turkey
John, an industrious turkey farmer was always experimenting with breeding to perfect a better turkey.  Every year he was able to breed bigger, and juicier turkeys and his reputation locally grew with each holiday season.

John’s family was especially fond of the huge legs for dinner, but there were never enough for everyone. After many frustrating attempts to make a really superior breed of turkey, John finally had a breakthrough.  He was really excited about the possibilities this new breed would have on turkey farming.  On John’s next visit to the local general store, he shared the news with friends and other local farmers. "Well, I finally did it. I bred a turkey that has 6 legs!"

Although a bit skeptical, everyone seems to be excited about the news.  Not know what to really say, Sam finally asked John, “Well, how did it taste? "I don't know" John replied,  "I can never catch the dang gum thing!"

Well, I hope that brought a smile to your face today.  Our Thursday Thought for today being Thanksgiving in the US is from:  Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
