This is Dr. MaryAnn Diorio, novelist and life coach, welcoming you to another episode of Winning with the Word. Today is Monday, April 11, 2022, and this is Episode #15 of Series 2022. This episode is titled "The Abuse of America's Children." There is nothing that angers me more than to see an innocent child abused. Whether the abuse be physical or verbal, my blood boils and my words flow when I witness the abuse of children.  Child abuse comes in many different forms. The ultimate, of course, is abortion. Brutally to mutilate a helpless child in the womb is nothing short of barbaric. Any society that has no respect for life at its beginning will have no respect for life at its end. Case in point: the increasing practice of infanticide and euthanasia. There is a sinister logic to evil. That logic follows a slippery slope that begins with small steps but then exponentially increases to avalanches of perversion. You see, Satan extends his chain a little at a time so that we don't see the whole chain until it's tightly wrapped around our minds and hearts. So, why and how are our children being abused? First, let's take the why. In case you are unaware, there is--and has been--an intentional global move to destroy our children. Yes, intentional. Spawned by and fueled by the leftist mantra that "it takes a village" to raise a child, we have been witnessing the disintegration of the family as God designed it. In its place, we are witnessing the rise of the State as the primary guardian and provider of our children.  Unwitting parents have abdicated their role as primary educator of their children and handed that role over to the State and to our public school system. Parents have trusted the school system to do what they are commanded by God to do. At the same time, parents have not monitored what there children are being taught in our public school system. They have wrongly assumed that their children were receiving an education similar to their own when they were children. But nothing could be farther from the truth. Children today are not being educated; they are being indoctrinated. And they are being indoctrinated with a globalist agenda that undermines parental authority, rejects God and HIs commandments, and idolizes the State.  Case in point: Several years ago I was invited to review a textbook that our local school system was planning to include in the health curriculum of our elementary schools. As I carefully read through the textbook, I noticed very subtle innuendos that undermined parental authority and encouraged children to rebel against it. The book even implicitly condoned abortion. Despite my pointing out these dangerous subtleties to the school board and speaking out against them, the book was, nevertheless, added to the curriculum. And the minds of countless children suffered the abuse and consequences of being taught a lie. You see, my friend, the ultimate globalist goal is to take over our children and, in doing so, to take over the next generation and, ultimately, the world.
