This is Dr. MaryAnn Diorio, novelist and life coach, welcoming you to another episode of Winning with the Word. Today is Monday, June 14, 2021, and this is Episode #19 of Series 2021. This episode is titled “Let's Get 'Woke' about UFOs" _______________________________ There's been a lot of talk lately about UFOs, especially with the upcoming release of the United States government's report on the topic. Back in my day, anyone who believed in UFOs was considered a quack. That epithet stood firm until a few years ago when highly reputable people--like navy pilot Commanding Officer David Fravor--reported seeing a UFO while flying over the Pacific Ocean in November 2004. Since then, reports about UFO sightings have been increasing at a phenomenal rate. These sightings are now referred to as UAPs, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, perhaps to divest them of the heretofore charlatan flavor of the term UFO. So, what is really going on here with these unidentified aerial phenomena or UAPs? Are these aircraft secret military vehicles invented by an enemy nation to spy on the United States? If so, why are UFOs appearing all over the world? Are they aliens from another planet or from a place outside of our known universe?  In analyzing some debris from a UFO crash (please see a February 15, 2021, article referenced at the end of this post), the Pentagon admitted that it has in its possession "off-world vehicles not made on this earth." Did you hear that? "Off-world vehicles." So, our government has admitted that UFOs are not of this world. Moreover, US intelligence officials have found no evidence proving that the UFOs encountered by US Navy pilots were alien spacecraft. At the same time, they have not reached a conclusion as to what they are.  Well, if they are not of this world, and if they are not alien spacecraft, then what are they? And what are they doing making their appearance all over our globe? As always, the Bible gives us the answer. Yes, the Bible. Are you surprised? If so, then you need to read the Bible. It has answers to what's going on in the world today.  One thing the Bible tells us is that there were angels who, together with Satan, rebelled against God and were expelled from heaven. After they fell, these rebellious or fallen angels retained much of their supernatural power and knowledge. They were sent to a place the Bible calls "the second heaven", and that is where they are now. Just so you know, the Bible speaks of three heavens. The first heaven is the atmosphere immediately surrounding the earth. The second heaven is the place where the fallen angels have their headquarters and from which they strategize, conduct, and execute their nefarious schemes upon the earth. And the third heaven is the place where God and the good angels reside.  While one of the chief theories about UFOs is that they are piloted by alien invaders, the Bible reveals otherwise.  The Bible reveals that the UFO phenomenon is part of the coming Great Deception. This is Satan's evil plan to deceive humanity and to corrupt the human race. So,
