This is Dr. MaryAnn Diorio, novelist and life coach, welcoming you to another episode of Winning with the Word. Today is Monday, August 16, 2021, and this is Episode #28 of Series 2021. This episode is titled “Have We Passed the Point of No Return?" _______________________________ As I talk with people from all over the country and, indeed, all over the world, I am hearing the same question: Have we reached the point of no return? Frankly, I think that, not only have we reached it, but we have also passed beyond it. On what basis do I say this? I say it on the basis of God's prophecies as found in the Holy Scriptures. The Bible speaks of several things that will happen shortly before the return of Jesus Christ and the end of this world as we know it. These things include the following: 1. Earthquakes, pestilence, famine, rumors of war. All of these things have been happening in greater number and in greater intensity in the last few years. While earthquakes, pestilence, famine, and wars have occurred throughout the history of the world, what makes this time different is that they are all occurring at once with greater frequency. In other words, they are converging. 2. The formation of a coalition among Russia, Turkey, and Iran. The Bible tells us that this coalition will be formed shortly before these three countries invade Israel to take control of its oil and gas supply.  The Bible refers to this event as the Ezekiel 38 War because it is prophesied in the 38th chapter of the Book of Ezekiel. Make no mistake. Russia, Turkey, and Iran hate Israel and are set on destroying her. 3. Increasing talk about the building of the Third Temple. This is the temple in which, during the seven-year period of horror called the Tribulation, the AntiChrist will perform what the Bible calls "the abomination of desolation." While the Jews believe that the AntiChrist is their long-awaited Messiah, he will offer a sacrifice--possibly of a pig--in the Temple, thereby revealing to the Jews that he is a false Messiah. At the shocking realization that the AntiChrist is not their Messiah but is out to destroy them, the Jews will then flee to Petra, a town in Jordan that God has prepared to protect His people. 4. The rapid loss of freedom. The New World Order (NWO) has as its purpose the subjugation of the entire world under the power and tyranny of a few.  Out of this subjugation will arise the AntiChrist as predicted in the Bible. This subjugation is already in progress, and its chief tool is fear. When people fear, they will comply with the dictates of tyranny. And when they comply with the dictates of tyranny, they will be enslaved. This is what is happening in the world today. People are paying a high price for safety and security. They are paying the price of their very freedom. And all because of fear. 5. The Rapture. The Rapture is that instant in time in which Jesus Christ will appear in the sky to take away those who follow Him. Only His followers will be able to see Him when He appears. The Rapture will occur before the Tribulation,
