b'For the next two weeks, we\\u2019re going to be immersing in the subjects of life and death \\u2013 life that is defined by death and death that gives way to life. We begin with the former by looking at Jesus\\u2019 dramatic call to discipleship \\u2013 to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow him. In his invitation, he reminds us that life is all about death \\u2013 the death of Jesus, on our behalf, and our own death \\u2018to self\\u2019. Everyday we are called to follow Jesus to death. Everyday we are called to die for the gospel. Everyday we are called to deny ourselves and live for Jesus. And the one who died for us gives us the power to do it.\\nPreacher: Dan Kroon'
