b'One of the harsh realities of life is the feeling of sometimes being mistreated by others. Whether in the workplace, on the sports field, by a family member or friend, or even the government. There are times we can feel hard done by. The question is, how do we respond \\u2013 how should we respond \\u2013 in these situations? If we\\u2019re honest with ourselves, either in action or heart motive, the temptation is to strike back. To get even. \\u201cEye for an eye, tooth for a tooth!\\u201d we cry out!\\nIn our passage this week we get to explore this issue by returning once more to the Life of David, this time in 1 Samuel 24. Here we see a man oppressed, and yet who did not strike back in return. In this way, David points us to the radical way of the Cross and the Gospel.
