b'On September 15, Governor Newsom signed the California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act (ADCA) into law. The bill \\u2013 which is modeled after the UK ICO\\u2019s code of practice for age-appropriate design \\u2013 will impose broad new requirements on businesses that provide an online service, product, or feature that is \\u201clikely to be accessed by children.\\u201d The law will require significant operational changes for any company subject to its requirements.
