And

Published: Aug. 16, 2017, 4:01 p.m.

I was off the grid and away from technology for several days over the weekend as I dropped into the simplicity of the county fair, the rhythms of loving my daughter, supporting her growth, and resting in our mutual passion for horses.

There is much to share about the lessons that presented themselves, and I had planned to do that on Wild Soul Medicine Radio this week.

But when I emerged from my sweet cocoon of myopathy, I was greeted with the turmoil of more violence, intense tragedy and conflict in and through the ranks.

I kept my distance from it at first, not desiring to create turbulence in my system where there wasn’t any.

I checked in here and there to read some posts and take the pulse of what was moving through.

I wondered if my White Privilege was obscuring my view and I checked in on what I might be avoiding.

And... it turns out I DID have something to say about all of this.

So I will.

Some highlights to listen for:
(05:20) Use Me, Goddess
(13:05) “The patriarchy projects, shames and admonishes: do this or else.”
(21:00) Letting Patriarchy off the Hook: Turning on Each Other
(33:00) Loving Our Haters
(33:40) “Sometimes we will need to fight and protest, and sometimes we will need to remind each other not to become the monster we’re fighting. Division is food for the hungry monster of patriarchy.”
(48:00) Goddess Includes
(49:20) Our Lives as the Prayer

Offering my perspective on this latest round of patriarchal death throes and the resultant kerfuffle among and between Us.

Should we be creating glamorous memes claiming our awareness of our White Privilege?

Writing scathing and angry letters to White Women to shake them [Us] out of their [Our] malaise and spiritual bypass?

Should we be organizing and embattling ourselves with protests and movements?

Do we need more personal responsibility or devotion to the collective?

Whose FAULT is all of this?

And how do we make them pay?

If you are fired up and looking for answers, Come.

If you are overwhelmed by the intensity and just want a break, Come.

If you are holding your own in the midst of the chaos, but curious about the something more… Come.

A Wild Soul Medicine Transmission on the ridiculously simple, heart of the Revolution remedy that might just be the Salvation we’ve been looking for.

I offer myself humbly as a delivery vehicle for the Goddess.

Bowing low to get myself as far out of the way as possible.

I’ve asked to Be Used in service of offering something constructive to this conversation.
We’ll See if Grace might show Her Self for Us.

I gratefully welcome your tattered hearts and bruised spirits to a place of Gentleness.

Come.

Let’s recharge and listen in for Our marching orders.

The We and the Me.

Lockstepping in Our own harmonious dance of Becoming.
Together.

Loving Us,
Jody
