Vera-Lee shares two WhyMe moments in time during her abusive relationship with her then husband -Trigger warning - this episode may be triggering for those who have been affected by domestic violence and rape.

Vera-Lee tells us of two important moments in her life, where she became aware of the power of coercive control and how sexual assault was used as a weapon. She describes the moment in time where a switch was flicked in her mind, overcoming the intense fear for their safety and lives, when she finally left the marriage and confronted her violent husband.
