One day you hear the phone ring and answer expecting it to be your mom because she forgot to tell you something. Instead on the other line is a man who claims to work with your mother and he wants your help in picking out a gift for your mom\\u2019s recent promotion at work. Since you\\u2019ve been fighting with your mom you think this is a great idea and schedule to meet this man on Friday, October 27, 1989. You are told to keep this a secret but you end up telling your brother and a friend. You don\\u2019t know it yet but you just set up your kidnapping and murder.This is what happened to 10-year-old Amy Mihaljevic, a fifth-grader from Bay Village Middle School, which is a suburb about 10 miles west of Cleveland. Bay Village is nestled on the lakefront of Lake Erie and has a median income of just over $100,000 and houses sell on average for close to $200,000.Well, there you have it.
