Meghan Buchanan.\\xa0 Her quest to become the first American woman to complete the Adventurer's Grand Slam:\\xa0 Climbing the 7 summits and skiing to the North and South Poles.

Meghan faced adversity from an early age, when her family learned she was dyslexic at age 7.\\xa0 Determined to overcome this learning disability, she pursued a career in aerospace engineering where she has worked on spacecraft designs. \\xa0 In 2011, Meghan suffered a life-threatening snowboarding accident, severely breaking her femur. Told she was lucky to be alive, and that she\\u2019d have to use a cane for the rest of her life, Meghan once again persevered and set a goal to take on the world\\u2019s highest Summits and both poles.

Meghan has since summited Mount Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, Elbrus, Denali, Mt. Vinson , and completed the South Pole Last Degree Ski, all on her first attempts.\\xa0

Her quest continues, this Spring 2022, returning to complete MT. EVEREST. \\xa0

She is dedicated to becoming the 1st Rocket Scientist to climb the 7 Summits, as well as the 1st US woman to complete the Adventurers\\u2019 Grand Slam.
