In this interview, Janey recounts her expedition across Arabia\\u2019s infamous desert, the Rub\\u2019 al Khali, known in the west as the Empty Quarter.\\xa0 A vast desert wilderness of which much remains unexplored.\\xa0 A land of searing heat and frigid nights, and home to a friendly and generous people.\\xa0 Along the way she encounters the mysterious Jinn.\\xa0 Spirits that have been part of the Arab culture for thousands of years.\\xa0 She also discusses the challenges of expedition leadership and the hard lessons she is learning along the way. \\xa0
