The case became world-wide obsession when the lead suspect was identified as her ex-husband, former Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers hall-of-fame running back, sports hero, and then actor, OJ Simpson. My dad arrived in front of the Bundy residence on the night of the murders, ended up finding the limo driver who took OJ to the airport after the crimes occurred, and gave infamous attorney Robert Shapiro the cemented timeline that eventually became the basis for OJ's case.
