Mike and Ed discuss the latest \\u201cscientist gone bad\\u201d - this time, an engineer working at Stark Enterprises. If even mid-tier scientists have this tendency to go bad, how are we going to identify them before they do something that cannot be stopped by people like Iron Man? Also, Iron Man was unable to save Tony Stark from a car accident. Is one super-powered bodyguard enough for the billionaire?

In this issue:

Tony Stark crashes his race car, and bystander Happy Hogan comes to his rescue. Tony hires Happy to work as his chauffeur, and so begins their long and storied friendship. We also meet Tony\\u2019s long suffering assistant Pepper Potts.

Tony, as Iron Man, stumbles upon one of his most trusted scientists, Professor Shapanka, breaking into his vault. Tony fires Shapanka for his treachery. Weeks later, Shapanka perfects his freezing technology, which allows him to coat himself in ice and freeze things. Shapanka goes on a crime spree, as Jack Frost, and proves more than a match for the city police. Iron Man and Jack Frost do battle, and Iron Man comes out on top by overheating the mad scientist.
