The disciples were quite familiar with being wowed by Jesus in the three years that they followed Him. They had seen Him in action! But now that He was gone, much of that wow factor had disappeared. They gather 120 Christ Followers and pray and wait for weeks. Then Pentecost came - and they see Jesus in a brand new way. They see Jesus working in and through and beyond them. The visual factor came back. Would it be just for that day? By the time a few months had passed, their expectation was renewed. They began to see Jesus in everyday life. The wow factor was back to stay - because they were still walking with and following Jesus. They were experiencing Jesus! They were experiencing doing life with Jesus in the Spirit - and seeing Him work in them and through them and beyond them every day!
