Our bodies are miraculous. They do the work to keep us alive, healthy, & thriving. Yet we betray their wisdom by silencing any uncomfortable symptoms with pharmaceuticals.

70% of Americans are on prescription drugs. It’s as if people believe eventually needing medication is the normal course of action for the human body. I see this in many of the clients who come to me for holistic health coaching. They think their meds will be part of the plan—until they realize they don’t need them anymore.

Body connection coach & author Lauren Geertsen speaks on this from experience. Having chronic health issues while growing up, she was provided with an arsenal of medications. They did nothing to heal what Lauren now understands were her true ailments—stress & anxiety.

Taking a pill instead of eating differently or making other lifestyle changes is pretty extreme. Lauren & I are suggesting some alternatives that anyone can do, & are not expensive or time consuming.
