Ep. 123: Smoothies Versus Green Juice: Everyone Is A Winner!

Many of us are focused on upleveling our health right now. There are tons of products & people out there promising to help us do that. But like with most things, the answer to maintaining health & wellness is quite simple—drink your vitamins!

I make myself a protein-packed, veggie-ful, delicious, nutritious smoothie every day. When done right, smoothies, or protein shakes as you might call them, are a meal replacement. My coaching clients always rave about the benefits they realize from adding my smoothie recipes to their daily eating regimen.

So I wanted to share my favorite smoothie recipe, along with some tips for customizing it to your health needs. Personally I love to add superfood chia seeds, which are a complete protein, complex carb, & have essential fatty acids. That helps me sustain energy throughout the day.

Juicing is another easy way to ingest the vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, & live enzymes that keep our bodies ticking. Juice is like a liquid supplement containing several servings of fruit & veggies. It’s easy to digest & offers up what we need in the most bioavailable form.

There are some other things you should know before becoming a devoted juicer. I’ll tell you how to best concoct your juice recipe (80% greens always!) & which type of juicer may fit your needs.

Consider making this health shift to drinking your vitamins, in whichever form you choose. When smoothies & green juice go head-to-head in a nutritional smackdown, we all win!
