b'Following the burning down of Notre Dame, billionaires responded with an outpouring of donations. Why? Not because it represented a place where God is to be worshipped, but rather, it represents France and the ideals of the West. Contrast that to the churches burned down in Sri Lanka. Hundreds of Christians\\xa0 are murdered, but very few care about the murders, let alone the church buildings destroyed.\\nWhich buildings do you think people care about more? It\\u2019s obvious. Which buildings matter to God more? As we prepare to build our new church building, we need a Godward perspective on such a project. We must remember that church buildings are a means, but never the end. And what does it take to MAKE SURE the building does NOT become the end. This chapter shows us.
