Sanders & Yang Supporters Feel the Bern From the DNC

Published: Feb. 3, 2020, 7:56 p.m.

It's caucus season! Tonight, we find out who will be right. Jason says Bernie's support skews young. His voters talk a big game, so he polls well. But they won't show up to actually vote for him. Because they're lazy… which is why they're so enamored with the laziest man in politics. So he'll probably flop tonight, says Jason. Matt, on the other hand, says people underestimate Bernie's broad appeal. He's generally likable, in a grouchy old man sort of way. And lots of people see him as a principled man who's fighting the machine. Plus, a guy like Joe Rogan saying he'd probably vote for him is a big deal. So he should be the current favorite, says Matt. However, both guys agree on Andrew Yang. His supporters are rabid. And his message is simple, positive, and easy to support for a lot of people. I mean, who doesn't want an extra thousand bucks?! No matter what happens tonight, people are probably underestimating the impact Yang will have. What do you think? Do you agree with Mr. Don't Doubt Me? Or does Matt have the edge here? ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Intro music by Nick White, producer of The Statist Quo.   This episode is brought to you by our sponsors: Capital One Stamps (Code: STAPLETON) Helix Sleep Support the show.
