Sanders & Climate Change: Round 2

Published: Dec. 9, 2015, 5:27 p.m.

Today I finish up our discussion from yesterday on the Sanders climate change plan.Yesterday I took some heat on social media by some folks who mistook my objection to Bernie Sanders radical plan to reorder our economy as being pro "big oil."Let me make very clear I have no interest in the oil industry at all. I own no oil stocks, and I don't have any sponsors of the show who are in the oil industry. What I find objectionable about Bernies plan is his intention to take money from the hands of hard-working Americans in the middle class (a group he claims to love and care for) by increasing the cost of fossil fuels. This will have the combined effect of increasing the cost of living for every American forcing many to adjust and reduce their lifestyle to pay for a problem that has not occurred yet and may never occur. As I outline in today's show Bernie's plan is riddled with fallacies and outright lies. He claims, for instance that you can invest a dollar in clean energy and get four dollars back. I happen to have been researching alternative energy for my home, and I would challenge anyone to show me a way that I can invest $1 today and get a 400% return on the investment. If flat out doesn't exist. But that hasn't stopped Bernie from saying it. Unfortunately, a gullible uninformed electorate has gravitated to this masterful deception, in the same way, the flocked to Obamacare and Net Neutrality. When will they learn?JasonSupport the show.
