We're in the middle of one of the biggest economic crises in history. So you'd think people would be excited to hear any positive news. But most people aren't wired that way. Envy abounds in a nation hard-wired for consumption. So it is that we get stories like this one. The author can barely contain his disgust that Jeff Bezos is getting richer while others are suffering. Who cares that Amazon has created more wealth and prosperity for more people than perhaps any other company in history. It doesn't matter. The mantra of today's popular culture is, if someone is suffering, everyone must suffer. Not on this show. We live our lives by a philosophy of greatness. Every day will be better than the last. Every day WE will be better than yesterday. We are living in momentous times. The knowledge revolution has begun.
