First, before we start. I referenced an article in today's show and I don't want to forget to give you the link. It seems a bit far-fetched to me at this point but it seems like we are more polarized now that we've ever been. Even that statement is a bit cliche at this point. I remember saying the same thing four years ago when this show launched. But there is no doubt that the rhetoric is ramping up. I've got a montage of voices today claiming that anyone who supports Donald Trumps "zero tolerance" policy at the border is a racist. And that's not the worst thing they're saying. It's time for a bit of a reality check. We need to see the pendulum swing back toward logical, rational discourse rather than a crazed emotional rampage of ideas.
