b"I have some great memories of going to camp as a child. I distinctly remember a lot of fun, but I especially remember the kindness of one particular counselor. Contrary to some of the other adults, I think this counselor actually liked our group of stinky 5th grade boys. He let us do things that the other kids didn't get to do. And he showered us with kindness when what we really deserved was a different kind of shower. In the past, each of us kids had experienced a different kind of counselor. We were so grateful for his kindness and, as a result, we treated him differently. That particular week is filled with very fond memories. As I prepare for the message this Sunday, I am reminded that God is a God who showers us with kindness and grace. And, as a result, our lives are transformed. This Sunday, we are tacking some of the best known verses in the entire New Testament. This should be really fun. I can't wait to see you then! - P.Dave"
