Waiting

b'I have a problem: tracking numbers. They are NOT a good thing for me. When I order something online, I want to receive it NOW. And tracking numbers make my impatience all the more extreme. For example, I might think, "My package has been at the sorting facility in Illinois since 1:52 am! And its 10:03 pm now! What are they doing with my package? All the employees are probably taking an extended break and using MY package as a table on which they can have lunch! Let\'s GO people!" Patience. Its a tough thing. In chapter 5 verse 7, James tells us, "Be patient then, brothers...." That\'s tough. But its also good and right. This Sunday, we are going to play a proverbial "waiting game" and look at how James tells us not only about the "facts" of patience, but he also tells us the "why" and "how" of patience. This Sunday, as you recover from your turkey over-dose, I encourage you to come out and join the body of Christ as we encourage one another to wait on the Lord with patience and Thanksgiving. In Christ, P.Dave'
