b'I had the opportunity to preach a couple of weeks ago at the church where Julie and I were members while we lived in Minnesota. It was a great time of catching up with friends and a blast to be able to share what God had to say. I also had the joy of having one of my classmates drive a couple of hours to join us for worship! It was a great day all the way around. One thing my classmate said to me later was that he appreciated my honesty about how important it was for Julie and I to find a church where we could serve God and others with our gifts and talents. He went on to say that he and his wife were not attending a local church and he had considered an online preacher to be their "church." He said, though, that God challenged him and he and his wife to find a local body in which they could grow and serve. Why did he come to that conclusion? Well, I could tell you, but then you could skip listening to the sermon! Instead, make it a point to listen and find out one more reason why the church is important! Thomas Cackler'
