Married Like You Believe

b'I enjoy maps. Its one of those quirky things about me. I like to know where I am going, and how that relates to the big picture. Usually, the first time I look at the map of a new city, it\'s confusing and hard to understand. Since I\'ve never been to that city, I don\'t have a reference point. But put a map of Des Moines in front of me, and I have lots of references. I\'ve traveled down many of the individual roads on the map. I understand they all fit together. If I trace a road like University Ave (which many claim to be the longest street in the metro) throughout the city, I know how the road changes as it crosses through different parts of the city. I\'ve traveled University Ave many times. I know the nuances. This Sunday, I\'m going to try something different. We\'re right in the middle of our current series, "James: Live Like You Believe." I want to press the pause button, stop, then turn around and look back at the first half of the book of James. James has given us a TON of direction over the past 6 weeks. He\'s basically said, "If you have a faith that\'s ALIVE, then it should effect the way you LIVE." What if we took these directives and applied them to ONE specific area of our lives? It\'ll be like tracing one thread throughout a great tapestry, or tracing one road over the course of a map. This Sunday will be heavy dose of "how does this stuff really matter in my life." It should be fun. I can\'t wait to see you then. P.Dave'
