I Am The Good Shepherd (John 10:1-21)

b'Sheep have a reputation for being really dumb animals. No one wants to be compared to a sheep. Now, to be certain, this reputation is somewhat deserved. Sheep are regularly running aimlessly into walls and doors and gates. But sheep are really smart in one way--they have an amazing ability to know and follow the voice of their shepherd. In John 10:1-21, Jesus compares himself to a shepherd -- not an evil or neglectful shepherd, but a kind and good one. Jesus is calling sheep like you and me into the fold, where we can hear and know his voice. He\'s calling you and me to a place where we can follow Him and find life that is truly abundant. If you have ever wished that your life was "more abundant," then you\'ll definitely want to be there this week as we continue this series in the Gospel of John. I can\'t wait to see you on Sunday!
