b"Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you felt like you were facing an impossible situation? The deck felt stacked against you and there was no way to accomplish the task. It felt like there was a gulf between where you were and where you needed to be. Maybe you had no way to meet a financial need, or perhaps you felt like your relationship with somebody had been completely unravelled. Regardless, you felt like there was no hope. This has been the situation for the Israelites for years. First, sent to Babylon, they felt like God had abandoned them. Then in constructing the temple, they couldn't help but wonder how they would ever have the gold and silver to complete it the same way it had looked before. But in these situations, God always provided for his people. Now in the final message in Haggai, we see God again reconcile what seemed impossible - the restoration of the Davidic line and hope for a new kingdom."
