b'I\'m 39 years old. My eye doctor is the same age. Once a year, I go and see him. Lately, he\'s been saying: "For guys like us, it won\'t be long before we need reading glasses!" The other day, I discovered he was right. I noticed that I was holding my phone a little further away than I usually do. I thought: "Oh boy, I think it\'s time to correct my vision!" But, to be honest, I\'m dragging my feet a little bit. I really don\'t want to deal with fuzzy vision. Every now and again, in the life of the church, we need a moment where we have some vision correction. God is doing amazing things in the lives of the people of WCC. And now, we need to sharpen our vision so we can continue to move forward. These are exciting times for our church family! On Sunday, we are going to launch into a month of vision. We will unveil the work of our Vision Team in the form of our new mission statement. And then, during the month of October, we will gradually unfold the implications of this new vision. By the end of October, we are going to see some specific, God-sized tasks that He is placing in front of us. These really are exciting times in the life of WCC. Would you make a special effort to attend the gathering of WCC this coming Sunday? We can\'t wait to see you then! - Pastor Dave'
