Course Correction

b"I recently saw a video of an SUV traveling the wrong way down a divided highway. The driver was either crazy or oblivious. As he barreled down the road, oncoming cars dodged him to get out of the way. The scene was being filmed from a car on the other side of the road. Every time a wreck was narrowly avoided, you could hear the camera operator wince. There was no way to warn oncoming traffic. And, there was no way to get the driver's attention. A wreck seemed inevitable. That driver desperately needed to turn around and go the right direction! He needed a course correction. Eventually, he slammed head-on into another SUV. If only that driver had changed course... The same thing can be said about King Saul. This entire series, we've been talking about how Saul was headed down the wrong path. He refused to change course. This Sunday, as we wrapped up our series on the life of King Saul, we saw how God's grace enables us to change course. The Gospel allows us to live a life of no regret."
