The time has come, folks. Jason, Paco and Evan dive deep into the workings of Antoine Fuqua, both as a filmmaker, and as a GENRE filmmaker that has been underrated in his endeavors to create the kinds of films that aren’t really made this day and age. We also underline the critical adversities that Fuqua has endured while still thriving within the system. If anything, Fuqua is one of those contemporary filmmakers that is always willing to walk through new avenues in order to make a compelling narrative, while unabashedly kicking up the action to wow his audience, even when he is thwarted by the Hollywood system (or known dick head, Bruce Willis) at numerous turns.
