When a person is kidnapped, it’s always at a moment when they’re not expecting it. Nothing can prepare someone for the unknown factors they’ll face when they’re taken to a stranger’s domain, and forced to live the way their captor wants them to. But, somehow, many of the people who face these circumstances are able to hold on to some shred of hope, despite having no idea if, or when an opportunity will arise. This week we’ll talk about person who was able to have the courage to rescue herself, even after accepting her fate of living in captivity.
