Legal Concepts Every YouTube Creator Must Understand [Ep. #27]

Published: Aug. 25, 2016, 4 p.m.

Jonathan Katz is an entertainment lawyer in New York who joins us to discuss some of the legal concepts we, as YouTube creators, must know and understand. Everything from knowing how to use copyrighted material to fair use, business classifications, trademarks, and even what to look for if we ever need to hire an attorney ourselves.

We discuss all those things here because sometimes "grown up" conversations are just necessary when we're growing a business around our YouTube channel and the audiences that surround them.
