Kitty chats with Peter May , who along with his team of gentlemen, will be walking 12 miles from St Helens to East Cowes whilst wearing women’s shoes in May this year – it will be called ‘To be in her shoes’

You may think this is just a walk but it isn’t.

The 12 gentlemen taking part in this walk will be wearing women’s shoes

They are Fundraising for Wight DASH – which is a local charity that offers domestic abuse support for women and families. So far they have raised £160 and their goal is to raise £2500.

The walk on 29th May will start at Fakenham Farm in St Helens and finish at Shoreside Cafe in East Cowes.

More information about how to get involved can be found at ‘To be in her shoes charity walk’ Facebook page . www.facebook.com/groups/310475937535686/

The organiser is looking for support from local businesses and anyone who would like to donate large ladies footwear.
