Robb Skyler: "Hands Of Stone" Interview

Actor Robb Skyler who will be starring alongside Robert DeNiro and Edgar Ramirez in "Hands Of Stone". "Hands Of Stone" tells the story of legendary boxer Roberto Duran and his trainer Ray Arcel. The film held a special screening at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and will be released in theatres August 26, 2016. Skyler plays Howard Cosell, the most iconic sports broadcaster in the history of television, who announced all the major boxing matches of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Cosell was also the one who informed the world, during the middle of a boxing match, that John Lennon had been killed. Skyler is a veteran of the industry, having worked with names like Tom Hanks, Jennifer Anniston, Ben Stiller, Alec Baldwin and Philip Seymour Hoffman in the last 20 years. Some of Skyler's film credits include "Along Came Polly", "The Hot Chick", "Romy & Michele's High School Reunion" and "Forrest Gump". In addition to his long history in film, Skyler has also worked extensively in television, with credits including "Arrested Development", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "2 Broke Girls", "Monk" and "NYPD Blue". Born in Brooklyn, NY, Skyler got his start in show business as a stand up comic in his late 20s. He toured comedy clubs and universities, and did stand up for corporate gigs for 10 years before deciding to pursue his real passion – acting. Skyler was a psychology major in college and also has a background in business as an entrepreneur. He is passionate about sports, and an avid baseball fan.
