Our intention, as always, is to provide a thought-provoking and entertaining listening experience to everyone, and we hope we can provide that for you all, as jaded and exhausted as many of us are at the tumultuous state of affairs happening before our eyes. We talk about this film as a sign of the times, how it compares to other Studio Ghibli works, and inquire over director Isao Takahata\'s intentions behind its themes. Is Grave of the Fireflies as anti-war film, or not? Will the struggle ever end? (We don\'t have the answer to the latter question).
