Hostage Situation in Bangladesh, Gunman Storm Cafe

A gun battle is raging in in the diplomatic quarter of Bangladesh's capital city of Dhaka. Gunmen apparently stormed a café, opened fire, and threw explosives while yelling.

The U.S. Embassy now says all of its staff members are accounted for as police seal off the area that's popular with foreigners.

The White House is denying it had any influence on a decision by Attorney General Loretta Lynch regarding the Hillary Clinton email scandal. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest spoke today after Lynch said she'd accept the recommendations of the Justice Department and FBI regarding possible charges.


Millions of Americans will fill up on cheap gas and hit the road in record numbers this July 4 weekend.
A record 43-million people will travel, with about 85-percent taking a road trip.
