This is the full recording of the Special Panel Discussion, “The Role of Social Security in Realizing Human Rights” [1:41:45] organized jointly by UNRISD and FORUM-ASIA in Bangkok, Thailand in September 2012. The panel and audience explore the relationship between social security and human rights and discuss which political, social and economic conditions are necessary for the realization of human rights. (Unfortunately there were technical difficulties with the recording of the audio at this event. This has affected the quality of the sound.
