b'God is capable of miracles. He can do anything. When we start to worry about what is going on in our lives, our country, or the world, it helps to remember that nothing is impossible for God. No matter how dark and hopeless things may seem, God can turn them around. Just look at the miracles He has done before.
When Moses and the Israelites needed to cross the Red Sea, God made a path right down the middle for them.
When two men who were blind came to Jesus, He healed them. He also drove demons out of people and healed those who couldn’t walk, and He even brought the dead back to life.
Anything is possible with God (Mark 10:27). He is bigger than anything in our lives, our country, or the world. Health problems, family issues, wars…God is bigger than all of it. Throughout time, God has done miracles. He has saved us and shown us His love over and over again. He has been kind to His creation.
One day, God will unite heaven and earth—the ultimate miracle. When Jesus rose from the dead, this was just the beginning of new creation. When He returns, everyone who has put their trust in Jesus will be raised from the dead to live forever with Him! Then, \\xe2€œThere will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain\\xe2€\\x9d (Revelation 21:4).
As we wait for God to renew creation, things won’t always go our way. Sometimes, we long for a miracle that doesn’t happen. But we can still trust Him—and we can always hold on to hope through the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). In everything, God is working for our good, and nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:28, 38-39). Remember that God knows what is best, and He is bigger than anything. • Bethany Acker
• Have you ever asked God to do a miracle?
• Do you have a favorite story in the Bible that reminds you of God’s goodness and power?
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
