b'We deal with anger for a number of different reasons. We get angry at ourselves when we fail. We get angry when we see others being treated in an unjust way. We get angry when the people in our lives hurt us.\\nThe Bible does not call the feeling of anger a sin, but it does say we should not sin because of our anger. It\\u2019s okay to feel angry at times. God gets very angry too, and we are made in His image. So it\\u2019s good for us to be angry at what makes God angry\\u2014things like lies, injustice, and death.\\nUnfortunately, because everything has been broken by sin, we don\\u2019t feel anger perfectly. Sometimes we get angry because of something silly or selfish. Sometimes anger causes deep, hurtful divisions in the church.\\nSo what does God want us to do with our anger? When should we just punch a pillow, and when do we need to get out there and do something about the anger we\\u2019re feeling? We can bring all of our feelings, including anger, to God in prayer\\u2014 because Jesus lived, died, and rose again so that anger might not have mastery over His people. Here are some helpful questions to talk to God about:\\n\\u2022 Have I been hurt by someone, or am I upset that things are not going my way?\\n\\u2022 Did someone intentionally harm me, or did an accident cause me pain?\\n\\u2022 Can I take the anger I\\u2019m feeling over an injustice and use it to help those who are being wronged?\\n\\u2022 Is my anger causing me to do things that are wrong? \\n\\u2022 Am I hurting others because of my anger?\\nWe are all going to feel angry at times, but it is how we respond to our anger that really matters.
