b'READ: JOHN 4:1-42\\n\\n\\n\\nWhen God amazes us, sharing our story with others can make a real difference. In John 4, we see how Jesus spent time with a Samaritan woman at the well near Samaria. He talked to her about God and also about her life, her husbands, the choices she had made\\u2026and about who He was. This woman was surprised at all Jesus knew about her, and when He said He was the Messiah they\\u2019d all been waiting for, she went out and told others about Him, saying \\u201cCome and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?\\u201d (verse 29).\\n\\n\\n\\nBecause of what she shared, many people met Jesus and believed in Him; they said, \\u201cNow we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he is indeed the Savior of the world\\u201d (verses 41-42).\\n\\n\\n\\nThis woman was someone who probably didn\\u2019t have the best standing in her community. Because of the rejection she would\\u2019ve faced, she probably hadn\\u2019t spoken out or shared stories from her life before. When she told others about Jesus, though, people who heard her story wanted to meet Jesus for themselves.\\n\\n\\n\\nWhen we share about the ways we\\u2019ve seen God work, we can encourage both fellow believers and those who don\\u2019t know Jesus yet. Our stories can help lead people to Jesus and invite those who already know Him to go deeper in their relationship with Him. If there\\u2019s something God has done in your life that has left you in awe, why not tell others about it? Who knows if your story might encourage those around you to go and meet Jesus for themselves. \\u2022 Emily Acker\\n\\n\\n\\n\\u2022 Can you think of any ways God has worked in your life\\u2014any ways He has revealed how good He is or how much He cares about you? If nothing comes to mind, you can ask God to help you notice what He\\u2019s been doing in and around you. He delights in answering these prayers.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\u2022 What could others gain through hearing about the ways you\\u2019ve seen God working in your life? And what could you gain by listening to others?\\n\\n\\n\\n\\u2022 The biggest way God has worked in any of our lives is by saving us through Jesus\\u2019s death and resurrection\\u2014and this amazing story is always worth telling!
