Then, in the New\\nTestament, we see how God the Son came to live among us. Jesus is\\nImmanuel\\u2014which means \\u201cGod with us\\u201d (Matthew 1:23). Because God loves us, He\\ndied and rose again to forgive our sins and provide the way for us to be\\nwith Him forever. Even though Jesus ascended to heaven, He is still with\\nHis followers through His Holy Spirit, His Word (the Bible), and His people\\n(the church).
