If I insist on \\u201cfilling the vessels with the bad fish,\\u201d I shall \\u201chave to do without the good,\\u201d for \\u201cthoughts are things and occupy space in mind.\\u201d

I \\u201clet go of old thoughts and conditions after they have served their purpose\\u201d and \\u201clay hold of new ideas and create new conditions.\\u201d

I do not let worries over possessions steal my peace of mind. I do a thorough \\u201cmental housecleaning\\u201d every time I pray.

I \\u201ccannot lay hold of the new ideas and make the new conditions\\u201d until I \\u201chave made room for them by eliminating the old.\\u201d
