"Intricate Heists" is this weeks theme. The Killing (1956) was Stanley Kubrick's first mature film and both M&A think it's one of Kubrick's best. Very straightforward and tight, it was a big influence on Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs. The Handmaiden (2016) is the latest Korean film reviewed on this show, and like the others, it did not disappoint. More of a con than a heist, it's smart, beautiful and the most erotic movie we've reviewed.\\xa0

Next time, Good Remakes is the theme and we'll watch The Killers (1964) with Lee Marvin and John Carpenter's The Thing (1982).
