It's UFO week.

Close Encounters sets the frame of "human to UFO" contact. The final chunk is the highlight. Is Dreyfus a terrible person - maybe? Arrival is a bit more nuanced. Amy Adams kills it. Matt was not at all bored by all the "feels" in the film. That's sayin' something. Maybe the Tin Man has a heart after all...

Next week: The Strawberry Statement (1970) and La Haine (1995)\\xa0
