- One of the most underrated skills in business right now is being nice. Nice sells.
- What makes you most valuable is your ability to cooperate and connect with others.
- If you can handle people’s diversity — people of a different age, different personalities, or educational backgrounds, for example — and you can handle the conflict that comes with that, you will be the highest paid, most valuable employee in the company and your patients will appreciate it.
- People hate dealing with people who are jerks. It’s always easier to be nice than to be a jerk. Don’t be a jerk!
- Empathize with others. You never know what is going on in their life or even their day.
- Most people have a negative perception of the "doctor's office". Use that to your advantage and "kill them" with kindness.
