Hiran Cooray has Represented Sri Lanka on the Board of Directors of\\xa0 PATA (2010 - 2012) and was President of the Tourist Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (2005- 2016). He has been a Board Member of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (2010 - 2014) and served on the Board of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (2014 - 2016). He was an alternate member of the UNWTO \\u2013 World Committee on Tourism Ethics (2017-2021) and bestowed with PATA Life Membership in October 2020.
